Golden Tulip Amsterdam Art is opened in February 2004. This 4 star hotel is decorated while showing that comfort and design perfectly match. There are 60 luxurious design rooms with a purple lounge sofa, the bathroom has walls of glass and you can find a mirror, wide as the wall, above the work desk. Design is also the keyword for the public areas of the hotel. The colour combination red, purple and grey, together with some elements of glass, give a daring view. Since the first of August 2006 the hotel offers free wireless internet throughout the hotel.

Golden Tulip Amsterdam Art offers you 60 design rooms at 4 star level. All rooms have a separate shower, as well as a separate bath and toilet. Rooms are available with either a double or a twin bed. Design comes back in the colour setting of the rooms; purple, red and grey. Of course for business travellers the rooms are more than suitable. Pay TV, e-mail and internet at the TV, laptop connectivity, minibar, air-conditioning and laptop safe are all provided in every room.
Large room: Design with a "glass" bathroom, large mirror and lounge sofa.
Extra Large room: Very large room with a comfortable and trendy wall-to-wall lounge sofa and design details.
Executive Suite: Separate bath and bedroom, Jacuzzi, kitchenette and a large desk to organize your personal meeting.
Bridal Suite: Double Jacuzzi, with an extra Large bathroom, and all romantic facilities to make your stay a special one!

The hotel has 7 design meeting rooms with air conditioning and 2 meeting suites. The sizes of the rooms vary from 14 m˛ to 120 m˛ and all the rooms have natural light. Moreover, the rooms have state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment. Different elements and the colours purple and red are present in such a way that your meeting will have that very special touch that your guests will certainly appreciate. Naturally, your meeting will have a professional setting and the quality of Golden Tulip and WestCord is recognised immediately!

Golden Tulip Amsterdam Art offers you the possibility to go for a drink in our Art-Café. The Art-Café is a brown pub in typical Amsterdam Style. All kind of drinks are served here and the café is opened until 01.00 in the night!

Breakfast, lunch and diner, all is served in The Gallery. It has an artistic atmosphere and in the summer you can enjoy the outside terrace which is overlooking the outdoor pool. There is served a wide range of international dishes.

The Golden Tulip Amsterdam Art is located in the Westerpark borough only 10 minutes away from Amsterdam's historical center. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 10 km from the hotel. Tourist attractions such as Volendam and the Zaanse Schans are close by. The hotel is easily reached by car and public transport. The hotel has a private secure parking.

Golden Tulip Amsterdam Art is located in the western part of Amsterdam. It is located in the Westerpark area. The hotel can easily be reached:

By car: From the Ring Road, the A10, you take exit S102 or S101, towards "centrum" (city centre). Drive straight on. After 5-10 minutes you will find the hotel on your right hand side.

By public transportation: From Central Station you can take bus 22 towards the Zaanstraat or 48, 49 towards Hempoint (opposite the hotel). From Station Sloterdijk you can take bus 48 towards Central Station. Please be aware bus 48 is not running in the evenings and weekends
