Hotel Barbacan is located in a pleasant residential area close to the Amsterdam Zoo. 10 minutes walking from the Rembrandtplein and the Waterlooplein. There are good links with Central Station.
In a pleasant residential area close to Amsterdam Zoo. 10 minutes walking from the Rembrandtplein and the Waterlooplein. This hotel has all facilities like a 3 star hotel except we don't have an elevator.
Remarks: the staff speaks several languages and are extremely helpful to guests.

Location and Route Description
By air:
Train from Schiphol Airport to Central Station Amsterdam.
From central station:
Tramline no 9: stop for the Zoo Plantage Kerklaan.
Make a right turn by Chinese restaurant (Plantage Kerklaan).
Make a left turn before de bridge.
By car:
on the eastern section of the ringroad Amsterdam (A10) the ZOO Artis, is indicated with an sign with a little black elephant.
Take exit S114 and follow the signs (little black elephants) of our
neighbour the Zoo.
Make a left turn on the crossing of the Zoo.
Left before De Bridge.
