From The Hague/Schiphol Airport:
Follow the A4 direction Amsterdam until you are driving on the A10 (ring road). Exit at S109 /S110 RAI/Rivierenbuurt. Follow signs "Centrum" S 109. At the end of the canal (Rijksmuseum at your left hand side) turn left (S100) until you come at S 105. Here you turn right (Rozengracht). Follow this street until the end ( you will see the back of the Royal Palace in front of you). Turn right and follow this street. At the end of the street you will have a canal at your right hand side. Continue until you come to a tower (Munt tower) than turn left on the large street where streetcars are running (Rokin). You will come at Dam square and will see the hotel in front of you. Do not leave your car unattended when unloading your luggage because parking police is very strict in Amsterdam.

From Utrecht and all other directions:
Follow the ring road A 10 (east) direction Zaandam. Follow the sign Zeeburgertunnel / Centrum. Follow the signs centrum in direction of Central Station. When you have passed Central Station turn the first right (Nieuwe Zijds Voorburgwal) at 100 meters at the intersection keep right. follow this street for about 1 mile (1,5 kilometers) until you see Munt tower in front of you standing in the canal. Than turn left on the large street with streetcars and water on you right hand side. Continue to Dam Square. There you will see the hotel in front of you.

From Haarlem, Zandvoort, Alkmaar Enter Amsterdam via Halfweg and Sloterdijk and go always straight on until you see Central Station at your left. Turn right direction "P-route centrum" (Nieuwe Zijds Voorburgwal). At 100 meters at the intersection keep right. follow this street for about 1 mile (1,5 kilometers) until you see Munt tower in front of you standing in the canal. Than turn left on the large street with streetcars and water on your right hand side. Continue to Dam Square. There you will see the hotel in front of you.

Parking
You will find several public parking in the immediate vicinity of the hotel: ANWB Centraal Parking (opposite Central Railway Station) is safe and well lit. Here you will have 10% reduction as a guest at our hotel. Department-store "De Bijenkorf" , NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky and De Kolk also offer parking at higher prices.We do not recommend leaving cars with foreign number plates in the street. Attention: Parking police in Amsterdam is very strict. They are very active in towing cars away. If your car is towed away it will cost you several hundreds of Euros.

Public transportation
Swissôtel Amsterdam is within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. Streetcars stop in front of the hotel Nos. 4 (RAI Exhibition and conference center) 9, 16, 24 and 25.

Transportation towards Amsterdam Schiphol Airport
The quickest and cheapest way is by train from Amsterdam Central Station. The ride will take approximately 16 minutes and will cost about Euro 3.10 (one way /second class) or Euro 5,-- (one way/first class). Opposite the hotel you will find the KLM Airport shuttle. The shuttle will take about 45 minutes to arrive at the airport as it stops at several other locations within the city-center. Taxis will charge you about Euro 40,-- to 45,-- (according to traffic). Depending on the hour of the day this ride will take a minimum of 20 minutes (more at peak-hours).
