Hotel Amstelzicht is a 3 star hotel located in the historical heart of Amsterdam behind the famous "Rembrandtplein".

Hotel Amstelzicht has a tasteful and warm atmosphere and is suitable for tourists because of the centrally location for shopping (Kalverstraat), Museums(Van Gogh), entertainment(Rembrandtplein) as well as business guests (RAI Exhibition Centre). The historical building where the hotel is located in, was build in 1659 and is totally renovated. With the 12 rooms and apartments, we are a small hotel and we created a warm a relaxing atmosphere. For us hospitality is the most important thing and therefore we hope that we may welcome u at Hotel Amstelzicht and give u a taste of our wonderful atmosphere.

The 12 comfortable rooms all have tastefull interior and are equipped with private bathroom (shower/toilet), satellite television, direct dial telephone with wake up service, hairdryer, minibar,wireless internet , safety box, work desk and a cosy sitting area. Canalview rooms have also a splendid panoramic view over the Amstel. The rooms can be booked for single and double use and are available in smoking or non-smoking. Please make a request on the booking field.

Reception opening times: reception is open from 0800 am untill 2200 hrs,arrival before 0800 am or after 2200 hrs is possible, but the guest must let us know the arrival time and flight number.

Comfortable City Apartments
The apartments are located behind a 17th century main door just 50 meters from the hotel.
You check in at Hotel Amstelzicht, where you will receive the keys of the apartment. Rental agreement has to be signed up on arrival. The apartments are 35 square meters and have a living room, bedroom including bed linen, a bathroom(shower/toilet) including towels and a open kitchen with fridge, microwave, cooking area complementary coffee and tea. In the living room are two single sofa beds, which can be used for a 3th and 4th person. All apartments are modern and comfortably furnished and each of them has its own atmosphere. The exact set-up can variate between the apartments. The apartments are equipped with cable TV, telephone, seating area and safe deposit box.

The apartments are self catering, this means the apartments are clean on arrival and the beds in the bedroom have been made up. If you would like to use the sofa beds you have to make them by your self, linen will be provided. During your stay there is no daily cleaning service, only in the case you stay more than 6 nights, there is a weekly cleaning service.

Hotel Amstelzicht only accepts reservations with credit card authorisation. Minimum stay is 3 nights. Lesser nights is only possible upon last minute availability. Cancellation without charges is only possible if the cancellation is made by fax or email at least 1 week prior to the arrival date. In case of no-show or late cancellation the total amount of the reservation will be charged on your credit card. Rates includes VAT and 5% city tax, but breakfast is not included. All hotel facilities are available for apartment guests. Guests are invited to enjoy the hotel amenities.

By check out:
Beds: Sheets and towels have to be collected and to be placed in a provided laundry bag.
Kitchen: The dishes have to be clean and tidy, the microwave has to be clean, the fridge has to be empty and has to be on the 0 position. Floor: The floor has to be cleaned with the broom.
Dustbin: The dustbin has to be emptied in a bag and to be placed next to the front door inside the apartment.

Please note that there will be a charge of 50 euros if the apartment has not been cleaned when you leave.

Good to know:
Check-in time for the apartments is from 17.00 hours (5.00 pm). You will be asked for a deposit of 100 euros (50 euro in case of loss of the keys and 50 euro if the apartment has not been left in a reasonable clean condition.) If all this is in order you will receive the deposit back by check-out.
Check-out time is before 12.00 hours (noon).
Apartments have a surface of 35 square meters.
Apartments are located in a side street and do not have canal view. Apartments are suitable for 1 up to 4 persons.
There is no elevator.
You have to pay up on arrival in cash, credit cards are not accepted. Check-in is at the hotel, around the corner from the apartments.

Food and Beverage
Hotel does not serve breakfast.
Every morning between 0800 am and 1100 am in our reception lounge we serve complimentary coffee and tea to all our guests.

Car Parking:
There is parking space underneath the Stopera building.

Children:
1 child up to 6 years old can stay for free in the parents room.

The best location on the Amstel River,between the Muntplein and the Muziektheater and behind the famous "Rembrandtsquare".

By Car:
Highway A10. Leave the highway A10 at the exit Nr. S116 and follow the signs "centrum". At the Mr. Visser Square (app. 8 km) follow the signs for the Stopera parking garage. Go straight and after the "Blue Bridge" turn to the right. After 500 meters u will see Hotel Amstelzicht at your left. This is the easiest route to the hotel.

By public transport:
From the airport u can take the train to Amsterdam Central Station. From there take tram 4 or 9 and get out at "Rembrandtplein". Walk towards "Three Sisters Pub" and walk in the "Bakkerstraat". At the end turn left, u will see the hotel after 100 meters.

By taxi: From the airport u can take a taxi that will bring u straight to Hotel Amstelzicht. A taxi will be around 35 and 40 euro. Price depends on traffic and time.

By Airport Shuttle Service:
Take the "Connexion" shuttle bus from the airport and get out at Hotel Eden. From there walk along the canal in the direction of the "Muntplein" and at about 300 meters u will see the hotel at your left. Please check the correct Shuttle bus because there are 2 different routes.
