We are honoured to offer this long established typically Dutch hotel. The Avenue Hotel, in the historical heart of Amsterdam, can be justifiably called a small 'grand' hotel. In the Golden Age it was a warehouse of the former United East India Company. Today it is a brand new luxury 3 star hotel. Ideal whether you are travelling for business or pleasure. Location
In the reception area you will be able to take a good Dutch beer at the friendly bar ("St.Jacobstreet Cafe", which is open late). Since the Avenue is so centrally located, you really can reach most tourist and business centres with ease. In just a few minutes you can be at The Dam, The Flower Market or Anne Frank's House. The hotel is located only a few hundred metres from Central Station and therefore Schiphol Airport is only an easy 25 minute journey away by direct express train.

Location and Route Description
By Car from the Hague (Den Haag) / Schiphol Airport
Follow Zaanstad / ringweg A10. Take exit S103 'Haarlem'.
Turn right, signs S103 to city-centre and Central Station.
At the end (approx. 2 km) turn left and then right to 'Haarlemmer Houttuinen'.
Turn right into the Martelaarsgracht / Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal.
The hotel is located on the left hand side (nr. 27).
By Car from Utrecht
Follow A10 Amsterdam West S116.
Follow the signs Centrum / Noord.
Turn left at the traffic lights into the 'IJtunnel'.
After the IJtunnel turn right at the traffic lights.
Straight on to Central Station.
Central Station is on you right hand side.
Turn left at the second traffic light into the Martelaarsgracht / Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal.
The hotel is located on the left hand side (nr. 27).
By train
From Utrecht / The Hague and from the airport you can take a train to Amsterdam Central Station.
From the front of the station you walk into the right street, where the trams number 1, 2 and 5 go into the city centre (Martelaarsgracht / Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal).
After about three minutes you will see Hotel Avenue on your left hand side.
By KLM Shuttlebus
From the Airport you can take the KLM Shuttlebus.
THe bus stop "Holiday Inn / Crown Plaza" is about 50 metres from the Avenue Hotel.
