The Rokin hotel Amsterdam is located on a former canal, not visible anymore now, in one of the oldest parts of Amsterdam. The hotel has been renovated recently completely but you will find many historic details in the buildings.
Rokin is a 3-star hotel, located in the very centre of Amsterdam at 3 minutes walking from Dam square. You will find nightlife and shopping close to the hotel .
At our same central location along the Rokin, just off Dam-square,we offer you complete new rooms, in 2 monumental characteristic building. All the rooms are comfortable and do have private facilities like bath or shower, toilet, tv, telephone, hairdryer and safe. Most of the rooms do have that typical Amsterdam atmosphere because of the ceilings with wooden beams. An elevator will bring you up to the floors.
In the new breakfastroom downstairs, we will offer you a delicious breakfastbuffet. Also in this area you will discover the typical ceiling.
The reception and lounge are clear and spacy and offers you a place to relax, have a cup of coffee or tea, or even a small drink.

Location
The Rokin Hotel Amsterdam is located in the heart of the old city on a main street, a few steps from the historic DAM square, the central square of Amsterdam, with the Royal Palace and the "New Church". The Central Station is about 10 min. walking distance, shopping and night life is at walking distance from the hotel. You find the best department stores, the unique MAGNA PLAZA shopping mall, and the long pedestrian shopping street "Kalverstraat" close by. Excursions by bus are leaving from the hotel. Boat trips are leaving a little bit down the street. Around the hotel are the canals with their historic houses.
How to reach the hotel from the airport:
From airport taxi charge is about Euro 35,-. Klm shuttlebus to NH Grand hotel Krasnapolsky hotel on Damsquare and walk 3 min. Train to central station and walk 10 min. Straight along Damrak and Rokin or take trams 4-9-24.get out at the 2nd stop and walk 1 min.
How to reach by car:
Follow centrum signs from outside the city and you will end up at dam- square close to the hotel. We have a private parking garage for your car, Euro 25,- per day.

Location and Route Description
From the airport:
KLM/Connexxion shuttle bus to Krasnapolsky hotel on Dam square and walk 3 minutes Take the train to Central Station and walk 10 minutes straight along Damrak and Rokin or take tram 4 , 9, 24, 25, and get out at the 2nd stop (Spui) and walk 1 minute.
You can take a taxi for about Euro 45 one way. It will take you about 30 min. You can take the shuttle bus to DAM square from Connexxion, for about Euro 10,50 one way. It runs from 7.00 AM till 9 PM about every half hour. You will find the desk from Connexxion on the airport in the main entrance/departure hall, a bit on the left hand side. From Dam Square it is about 5 min. walking to the hotel You can take a train from the airport to Amsterdam Central Station for Euro 4 one way. Traveling time is about 18 min. From 6 AM until 24 PM 4 trains per hour, rest of the day at least one train per hour.
By car:
Follow "Centrum" signs from outside the city and you will end up at Dam Square, close to the hotel. We have a private parking garage for your car, EURO 25,- per day.
