The hotel also has an enchanting secluded garden where outdoor dining is available in the Summer. The Grand has been a prestigious venue for social events and business functions for centuries - a tradition which is proudly maintained. The wood-panelled Council Chamber can play host to a gala banquet for hundreds or accommodate a sophisticated state of the art conference. The remarkable Marriage Chamber's murals and stained glass windows from 1926 have witnessed the weddings of countless couples and now serve as a stunning backdrop for private dining. Meetings, Cocktail receptions and intimate private parties can be held in the elegant Burgomaster or Aldermans Chamber. All Meeting and Banqueting Chambers enjoy natural daylight and are equipped with the most modern technology for your convenience.

The Grand Amsterdam offers 182 rooms, including a large number of suites and 16 apartments, some duplex, with private entrance and full hotel service. Each of the rooms is thoughtfully appointed and has a charming view over 17th century canals or private courtyards. The rooms' facilities include private safe, personal bar, Molton Brown bathroom amenities and colour TV with remote control and satellite channels. For your comfort, twice daily maid service, concierge and valet parking service are available. Location and Route Description
From Central Station you can take the following tram numbers: 4, 9, 16, 20, 24 or 25. Get off at the first stop near Dam Square and walk from Dam Square heading east through the Damstraat. Cross the first bridge and turn right to Oudezijds Voorburgwal. Hotel The Grand is just a few metres ahead. You can also board the subway and disembark at the Nieuwmarkt. Take the exit marked Hoogstraat, head west and turn left on the third bridge. Hotel The Grand is at number 197.
