Location and Route Description
NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky is easy to reach, regardless of your means of transportation. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is only 20 minutes away by car. There is a Connexxion shuttle service from Schiphol Airport to the hotel. A one-way ticket costs approx. Euro 10,- and can be purchased on the bus. Guests arriving by car may park in the secured hotel garage which can accommodate 150 cars. The hotel is a five-minute walk the Central Station. From here regular services to all major cities in the Netherlands and neighbouring countries are available.

ROUTE DESCRIPTION
By car from The Hague / Schiphol (A4)Arriving at the 'Nieuwermeer' instersection, follow the 'A10 West/Zaanstad' signs. After a few kilometres take the 'S105' exit. Than follow the 'Centrum' and 'S105' signs. At the end of the Raadhuisstraat, turn right and then immediately left into the Paleisstraat. Follow this street, keeping the Royal Palace on your left. You will see Dam Square in front of you and, behind the Monument, the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky.
By car from Zaanstad (A8)Arriving at the 'Coenplein' intersection, follow the 'A10 West/Den Haag' signs. Drive through the Coentunnel and, after a few kilometres, take the 'S105' exit. After this, the route is the same as for "By car from The Hague/Schiphol".
By car from Utrecht (A2)Following the A2 motorway, keeping to the 'Centrum' and 'S110' signs. Drive over the river Amstel, turning right directly after you cross the bridge. Follow this street, the Amsteldijk, keeping the river on your right. After a few kilometres at the T-junction at the end of the street, turn left into the Stadhouderskade (S100). Turn right into the second street that follows, the Vijzelgracht, which becomes the Vijzelstraat. Follow this street until you get to Muntplein. Here you follow the curve to the left onto the Rokin. Drive along the Rokin until you get to Dam Square, where you turn right. You will see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky diagonally to your left.
By car from Amersfoort / Almere (A1)Arriving at the 'Watergraafsmeer' intersection, follow the 'A10 Zuid/Den Haag' signs. After a few kilometres, take the 'S112' exit. Then follow the 'Centrum' and 'S112' signs. Drive along the Gooiseweg until you get to Amstel Station (visible to the left at a distance). Make a quarter circle around the Prins Bernhardplein roundabout, then turn right into the Wibautstraat. Follow this street until the junction with the Mauritskade (S100), where you will see the Wibauthuis on your right. Then turn left and cross the river Amstel over the Torontobridge. After this, the route is the same as for 'By car from Utrecht'.
By foot from Central Station (5 minutes)Take the main exit and walk directly over the square. After you cross Prins Hendrikkade you will find yourself on the Damrak. Walk along this street until you get to Dam Square. You wil see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to your left.
By tram from Central Station (2 minutes)From the square in front of the station you can take tramlines 4,9,16,17,20,24 or 25. All of these trams stop at De Bijenkorf, a department store on Dam Square. Behind the Monument, you will see the NH Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky to your left.
