The Art Gallery Hotel is a clean and friendly two star (with three star facilities) hotel wich was totally renovated in 1999. We are very centrally located, but still in a quiet area.The hotel is easy to reach as well by car as by public transportation (See also location). The Art Gallery Hotel was established in 1999. It is a small, 18 rooms very personal and friendly hotel. We hope you experience the hotel as your home away from home in Amsterdam. The Hotel is located opposite the Rijksmuseum, the famous Spiegelgracht and is just around the corner from the Nieuwe Spiegelgracht which is internationally known for it's antique and art shops. The hotel offers you 24-hour reception, free coffee, tea and hot chocolate, fresh fruit and a breakfast buffet. On the top floor we have a nice little terrace overlooking the old Amsterdam city centre and famous canals. The Hotel is equipped with the most up-to-date safety standards. The rooms are in an original fashion, the colours bright and clean. Every room has a Dutch masterpiece of its own.The single rooms have shared facilities on each floor. All rooms have remote control televisions and direct dial phones. All double rooms have private facilities. The hotel provides laundry and taxi service. Hairdryer and ironing facilities are available upon request. A baby bed is also available..

1.) By taxi ( cost approxim. Euro 30,- )
2.) By bus 197 to the Leidseplein ( cost approxim. Euro 8,- )
3.) By train to Amsterdam Central Station and tram 1,2 or 5 to the Leidseplein (cost approxim. Euro 4,- )
By car: Exit nr. 106 and follow city center. At the end of the Overtoom turn right and directly left over the bridge. Follow this street and you'll be on the Weteringschans. Secured parking grounds are only 5 minutes walking away. Deduction on parking tickets are available at the tourist information ( VVV ) at the Leidseplein.
