Facilities
The rooms (smoking or non-smoking) are all fitted with a colour TV with free video channel, telephone, radio alarm clock, desk, modem connection, free coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, and bathroom with shower and toilet. Each room has two spacious single beds with duvets. Most hotel rooms also have a safe. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day. Services such as wake-up service, laundry service, fax/photocopying machine and tourist information are at your disposal at the reception desk. You can check into your room from 14 o' clock onwards, and you must have checked out by 12 at the latest. Pets are not allowed in the rooms. The hotel has an attractive grill restaurant with an extensive à la carte menu. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. In the morning, a varied breakfast buffet is served. To relax, visit our cosy bar or pool room.
Location and Route Description
The hotel is situated nearby the World Fashion Centre, the RAI and the harbour. From de ring road A10 the hotel can easily be reached by car, via junction S106. The hotel has parking facilities for its guests. The cosy Leidseplein is about 5 minutes from the hotel and about 10 minutes from the shopping heart of the city. Schiphol is just five minutes by car.
By car:
From Rotterdam/The Hague: On the A10 take exit Zaanstad/Amsterdam, ring West. At the end turn left, pass under the A10. Follow the road to exit Osdorp S106. At the traffic lights, turn left. Follow thw signs World Fashion Centre. Pass under the A10, you see the hotel in front of you.
From Utrecht/Almere: On the A10 take exit Zaandam/Amsterdam, ring West. Follow the signs World Fashion Centre. Follow road to exit Osdorp S106. At the traffic lights, turn left. Pass under the A10, you see the hotel in front of you.
By public transport:
From Schiphol: Take de slow train to Amsterdam Central Station, get off the bus at bus stop Lelylaan. From Station Lelylaan take tram 1 or 17 to the Central Station and get off the train at Surinameplein, cross the street, walk back. The hotel is situated about 300 metres down the road.
Amsterdam city centre:
Tram 1 takes you to the Central Station. The tram departs every 10 minutes, from 05.25 a.m. to 00.17 a.m. Tram 17 takes you to the Central Station. The tram departs every 10 minutes, from 05.45 a.m. to 00.26 a.m.
Tram cards are available in the tram or at the stations and cost Euro 2.10 for a single journey. A day ticket costs Euro 5.50 per person.
